Contra Costa Water District: SAFETY SUPPORT SERVICES. The Contra Costa Water District (District) is seeking proposals from firms interested in providing on-site safety supp01t services for the District's 300 employees under the direction of the District's Manager of Health and Safety. The District has been engaged in a concerted safety improvement initiative for the past nine years and has continued to make advancements in its safety program aimed at improving safety leadership, culture, training and resources. The District is seeking the services of a consultant to work on-site to lead program updates for the respiratory protection, heat illness, welding/hot work, and solitary worker programs; complete California Accidental Release Program (Cal-ARP) process hazard analysis and compliance audits for chlorine and ammonia; and to be on-site two to three days per week to provide day to day technical safety program support. The anticipated contract value for the current scope of work is $50,000.
