Redwood City: Urban Planning Services forPublic Safety Training Center Site Assessment and Feasibility Study. The City desires to retain theservices of an urban planning and design firm to conduct a site assessmentand feasibility study for a new public safety training facility. Consultant willneed to identify suitable sites within the City of Redwood City that meet theminimum site requirements for training facilities of this type that canaccommodate the list of items identified in Attachment “A”.The study should report on the best location for the Public Safety Training Centerbased upon criteria such as minimum and optimum facility/site size, amenities,least amount of issues or conflicts, and overall cost effectiveness.The study shall be carried out in three phases: feasibility analysis for a site thatmeets the minimum and optimum size requirements; preliminary site planning andidentification of site improvements and amenities that can be accommodated; andrecommendations for the final design and development for the public safetytraining center.Estimated Budget:Funding for this project is $90,000.00 for the three phases
