Bid Description: YAKIMA:(RFQ) MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING SERVICES. The City of Yakima is inviting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms interested in providing professional surveying and engineering design for the following WSDOT Safe Routes to Schools funded project: Robertson Elementary SRTS Project. Improvements include approx. 1500 LF of curb and gutter, 843 SY of concrete sidewalk alleys, 210 Tons of HMA for road widening and ADA and crosswalk improvements. These improvements are intended to be designed and constructed in 2022. SOQs shall be limited to twenty (20) pages and shall include the following information: key personnel; firm experience with PS&E; familiarity with the City of Yakima and/or other similar municipalities; familiarity with WSDOT standards, state funding, and environmental process; and past performance/references. Please submit three (3) copies of the Statement of Qualifications. Statement of Qualifications will be evaluated on a competitive basis using the above criteria. The City will score the received Statement of Qualifications and may conduct interviews. SUBMIT TO: SOQs shall be received at Yakima City Hall by 10:00 a.m., October 13, 2021, to the Office of the City Clerk, 129 N. 2nd Street, Yakima, WA 98901.
