(Quest Number: 8145702) Litchfield: *ADDENDUM 1 & 2* Water Treatment Facility Improvements The work includes the construction of approximately: 1. Remove filter media and Leopold block underdrain in all four filters and furnish and install low profiles underdrain block with reverse graded gravel; 2. Remove washwater troughs in all filters and furnish and install media retaining wash troughs; 3. Remove existing high service and backwash pumps (four in total) and rebuild the pumps by replacing the bowls, column pipe, etc., as specified and reinstall them; 4. Remove and replace chemical feed equipment as specified; 5. Remove and replace existing variable frequency drives and furnish and install new VFD for high service pumps, backwash pumps, air wash blowers, and four submersible wells pumps; 6. Remove and replace existing ballasted EPDM roofing and insulation with new roofing; 7. All other work as shown in the plans and specified in the project manual; together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, Buy American Iron and Steel Provisions, and Responsible Contractor Certification.
