(E05241) PennDOT: (E05241) (SOI/LOI) Design and Misc Services, Pyra Road Bridge. The Department of Transportation will retain an engineering firm for a project specific Open-end agreement for the services indicated below: This project is the full replacement of the bridge carrying State Route 2005 (Cherry Run Road) over Cherry Run in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County. The attachment contains the applicable location map. Right-of-Way acquisition services will not be part of this agreement. The District anticipates completing initial survey tasks in house. Minimal survey effort may be needed to confirm or supplement the survey information provided by the District. The District anticipates completing the SEPS report and structure boring in house. Consultant to review the SEPS report and structure boring locations to verify accuracy and alignment with the TS&L plan. This project is the full replacement of the existing structure carrying SR 2005 (Cherry Run Road) over Cherry Run in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County. The selected engineering consultant will be required to perform all tasks and activities necessary to complete Preliminary Engineering, Final Design, and Construction Consultation for the project. Preliminary Engineering tasks and activities may include but not limited to: field surveys, alternative alignment development, utility coordination, design criteria report, line and grade submission, TS&L, H&H Report, preliminary traffic control plan, 90% right of way plan, public involvement, design field view, constructability reviews, E&S Plan, preliminary drainage and stormwater design, environmental clearance, phase 1 ESA, SEPS and subsurface explorations, and other Preliminary Engineering tasks as required Final Design tasks and activities may include but not limited to: field surveys, final TS&L, structure foundation report, roadway plans, utility coordination, final right of way plan, final structure plan and supporting calculations, construction CPM development, constructability reviews, preparation of PS&E package, NPDES permit, Subsurface Utility Investigations, and other Final Design tasks as required. Construction Consultation tasks and activities may include but not limited to: shop drawing reviews, attendance at pre-job meeting, survey, review of construction submissions, review of any alternate designs and addressing all RFI's from the contractor, and other Construction Consultation tasks as required.
