UPPER AUGUSTA TOWNSHIP, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY: LITTLE SHAMOKIN CREEK FLOOD MITIGATION PROJECT - PHASE 1. Construction of an improvement project in Upper Augusta and Rockefeller Townships that includes stream improvements along Little Shamokin Creek and Plum Creek. The Little Shamokin Creek Flood Mitigation Project includes construction of 43 multi-log vane structures, 4 single-log vane structures, tree cutting and removal and stream cleaning and stabilization along 5100 feet of Little Shamokin Creek and 300 feet of Plum Creek. Temporary access construction along with maintenance and protection of traffic and erosion and sedimentation control will also be included.
