(HSIPL-5112(019)) Azusa: CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, MATERIALS TESTING AND INSPECTION SERVICES ARROW HIGHWAY STREET RESURFACING AND HIGHWAY SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. The consultant will be expected to provide construction management, materials testing and inspection services on this project. At the beginning of the project, the consultant shall identify the project team including but not limited to a Resident Engineer, Construction Manager, Labor Compliance Officer, Inspector and materials testing firm. The inspector shall have knowledge of Public Works inspection of the construction of concrete and asphalt paving as well as the placement of landscaping and irrigation. The City’s Public Works Project Manager and Public Works Inspector will oversee all work on the project and monitor the consultant contract. The required scope of work is listed below in Tasks 1 through 3. The Consultant may augment the scope with “optional tasks” if necessary. The total number of construction working days is estimated at 90. The said number of working days includes lead time for materials procurement and no additional time will be granted for the procurement of materials unless otherwise approved by the City. The Contractor will be required to complete work on all contract items concurrently with the material procurement period to the extent possible. The project plans and specifications may be downloaded by all prospective proposers through Dropbox, as previously indicated.
