The Riley Literary Trail is included in the Main Street Redevelopment Plan and is intended to tie a variety of historic, cultural, and commercial districts together in downtown Greenfield via a dedicated multi-use path. The Riley Literary Trail will start and end at the Pennsy Trail (which itself will be connected to Indianapolis in the near future) and create a connection to the Riley Boyhood Home and Museum, various retail & commercial businesses, as well as neighborhoods and governmental services. The desire is to spur economic development along the trail, create an easier avenue for local tourism, and connect disconnected cultural districts downtown. Estimated Construction Amount: $2.5M
