(WMARC-418) Riverside County: (RFQ) LANDFILL GAS BENEFICIAL USE PROJECT FOR BADLANDS AND LAMB CANYON LANDFILLS. The County of Riverside Purchasing Department on behalf of the Riverside County Department of Waste Resources is offering an opportunity to qualified entities to submit qualification packets for the development of a Landfill Gas (LFG) Beneficial Use Project (Project) at the Badlands and Lamb Canyon Landfills (Landfills located in Moreno Valley, California and Beaumont, California respectively). The Riverside County Department of Waste Resources (RCDWR) is hereby soliciting a Request for Qualifications (RFQu) from Private Development Teams (PDTs) in the first step of a two-step process that will result in an agreement with the awarded Qualified Entity. During this first step, the RCDWR will create a short list of qualified entities for their participation in the second step of a Request for Proposals (RFP) to design, permit, construct, own, and operate the Project at one or both Landfill sites. Only Qualified Entities as a result of this RFQu will be invited to the RFP. Qualification Packet will only be accepted on or before the deadline specified in this RFQu. Additional Qualification Packet will not be accepted beyond the closing date of this RFQu. The RCDWR manages five (5) active landfills and thirty-three (33) closed landfill sites in Riverside County including the two (2) active landfill project sites. Site locations are located in the Scope of Qualifications Section, Tab E, Page 13. The RCDWR invites interested qualified entities to submit a response outlining their qualifications to complete a LFG Project that includes the beneficial use of LFG generated by the Badlands and/or Lamb Canyon Landfills. The Project would be executed through LFG delivery and site lease agreements.
