(M4-TTG20) Oklahoma City: MAPS 4 Transit Planned Growth The consultant will assist the MAPS Office in the development of two Alternative Analysis studies to guide the addition of Oklahoma City’s second and third Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lines intended to serve the city’s northeast and south sectors. The studies will define the preferred route (Locally Preferred Alternative) and station locations, as well as provide the associated capital and operational cost estimates, preliminary engineering, preliminary environmental review, ridership forecast, and cost-benefit analysis for each of the two lines. It is anticipated that the two studies will be conducted concurrently in the same 18-month time frame. Services will include meeting with City officials, stakeholders, and user groups as well as making presentations to the MAPS 4 Connectivity Subcommittee, MAPS 4 Citizens Advisory Board and City Council along with the various design review committees as established by ordinance. The estimated construction cost is to be determined.
