|Bid Description:||Boston: JFK/UMass Station Area Action Plan. Request for proposals for planning and design services related to the JFK/UMass Station Area Action Plan for the City of Boston. The City of Boston, acting through the Interim Commissioner of the Boston Transportation Department, invites submissions from qualified Consultants to provide planning, engineering analysis, and concept design services for the JFK/UMass Station Area Action Plan. The purpose of the Study will be to recommend specific, actionable improvements for the JFK/UMass MBTA Station that will enhance pedestrian, bicycle, and transit access to the station and the public realm around the station site. In line with long-range neighborhood planning and future growth and development contexts, this Study will identify strategies and actionable projects to ensure the JFK/UMass MBTA Station is fully connected and accessible for high-quality transit service to all modes and users.|
