City of Shelton: Brownfield Consulting Services. The City of Shelton is seeking to enter into an agreement with a qualified firm to conduct brownfield related engineering and environmental services. The City reserves the right to choose one or more firms for services and reject any/all proposals depending upon the quality of submittals received. Phase I (Sept 2006) and Phase II (February 207) reports were previously completed and are available in digital format for review via the following web link: sheltonedc.com. Potential respondents are encouraged to utilize all existing data and reporting to the maximum extent possible for development of the Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) requested below. The intended project is to prepare a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and Supplemental ESA / Final Site Investigation for the former Star Pin facility on Canal Street. All work is expected to occur during the next 3 to 6 months. The program is funded by the CT DECD brownfields assessment funds under their Remedial Action and Redevelopment Municipal Grant Program.
