CSU, San Diego: ON-CALL HAZMAT CONSULTING SERVICES. The State of California, acting through the Board of Trustees of The California State University, hereinafter called Trustees, on behalf of San Diego State University, hereinafter called University, is soliciting this Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify the necessary and desirable qualifications of consulting firms who wish to be considered for providing the University with on-call hazardous materials consulting services. The University will solicit proposals for hazardous materials consulting services to supplement its Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) in conducting building inspections, designing abatement plans and specifications, and monitoring the performance of abatement contractors. Hazardous materials include, but are not limited to, asbestos, lead, mold and universal wastes. Consultant services shall be performed on an on-call basis. The consultant shall provide all labor, materials, instruments and supervision as necessary to perform the requested services.
